Policies & Terms
Please review our policies before booking services
Terms of Service
By scheduling services with Happy Hoomans, you agree to our service terms, communication expectations, and payment policies.
Services Covered by These Policies
These policies apply to our current services: in-home pet visits, dog walks, poop scooping, and pet taxi support.
Home Visits and Walks
Visit Time Windows
While we always aim to arrive as close as possible to your requested time, visits may occur within a one-hour window before or after the scheduled time due to traffic, prior visit complexity, and other operational factors.
Team Assignments
The team member you meet initially may not perform every visit. All team members follow the same care standards and are insured, background checked, and trained for safe professional care.
Home Access
We do not keep client keys. Please provide secure access via pin pad, lockbox, or hidden key instructions in your client profile.
Property and Escape Liability
We cannot accept responsibility for property damage or pet escapes unless caused by sitter negligence. Clients should provide clear instructions and disclose any known risk points in the home.
External Dog Incidents on Walks
During walks, we prioritize safety and use best-practice handling, but we cannot accept liability for incidents caused by external animals.
Health, Safety, and Emergencies
Please keep your pet profile up to date with medications, behavior notes, emergency contacts, and veterinary information.
If emergency veterinary intervention is needed, we will contact you immediately and coordinate care.
Our team is certified in pet CPR and first aid. While we take preventive measures, clients remain responsible for medical costs resulting from illness, stress, or pre-existing conditions not caused by negligence.
Payments and Billing
Invoices are issued through Time To Pet and must be paid according to platform terms.
Payment methods, cancellation handling, and credits are managed in your client portal.
We reserve the right to apply handling fees for exceptionally difficult or aggressive dogs when extra staffing or time is required.
